My Declaration Before God
“And I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Get up and go on into Damascus, and there you will be told of all that has been appointed for you to do.’
Acts 22:10
Just as Paul wrote these words many years ago, they ring true in my heart today.
Now obviously, God did not call me into Damascus, nor was I given the mission that He gave to Paul. I have always felt like God wanted me to reach the world, but I didn’t know how. I never knew where to start or how to do it correctly, nor have I felt it was God’s timing. So I put my calling aside.
Through great encouragement from my husband, I started this blog. I don’t know if this is what God wants me to do forever. But I do believe God has led me here so that it will take me down the road He wants me to follow. It is my road to Damascus. My start and direction for His mission in my life.
God has given me the command to tell the world about His saving grace and I have embraced the call. I am sharing my life as a willing vessel, one full of honesty and truth. One that feels inadequate but will do all they can for His honor and blessing.
“Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” Exodus 4:12
I may grow tired but I will not quit. I may need rest, but I will always return when refreshed.
