The Trinity of Relationships
Our current culture has changed immensely, even over the last couple of years. What was common back 100 years ago may be seen as weird or unnecessary now. Even how we perceive and view friendship, love, and marriage has changed.
Not only culture, but a better understanding of trauma and a greater knowledge of horrible lives people have faced and lived through has changed people’s minds on typical biblical teachings.
God never changed. Sin was always here. Why are friendship, love, and marriage so hard now?
I want to look deeper into the Bible and see what God says about each of these topics. Since He was the one who created these relationships, I believe His Word can just as easily help us increase our knowledge of them.
Each one is extremely important and should be worked on to gain strength over time. A good relationship is healthy for the body. It will relieve stress, give purpose, and give peace. We are sociable beings, some more than others, and the health benefits are immense for why we need to have at least two of these types of relationships.
Human interaction is necessary to live a fulfilled life. So if we have to have these relationships, why not understand what they are, how we can have them, and how to apply the knowledge to our lives?
