His Spirit, My Soul<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.<\/p>\nPsalm 84:2<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When God’s Spirit meets my soul a mysterious thing occurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I become a new creation. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am no longer who I was born to be. I am no longer destined for a tormented future. I have a changed heart with a new life and death to which I can look forward. One filled with peace and security in someone greater than me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in order to understand and strengthen this change, both God’s Spirit and my soul must work together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My soul needs the Holy Spirit to help me understand what is right and wrong, where God is leading my life and to keep my connection to God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Holy Spirit needs me to open my heart and mind: to listen to its prompting, to follow its leading, and to be God-focused, not me-focused. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We must talk together in continuous communion and show the world the light we hold, the light of God, and how they can have that same light. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we study God’s Word, take part in prayer, and evangelize to the world, then our faith in God will be strengthened. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when a person has strong faith in God they can do what the world calls preposterous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They can do what very few have had the faith to accomplish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their faith will move mountains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their faith will do the impossible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So Jesus said to them, \u201cBecause of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
